CRUEL GAMER POLICY
Terms
Effective with Cruel Gamer 3.0. This operational policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel for the operator’s location and audience before public launch.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, provide a reachable email address, protect access to your mailbox and sessions, and keep your account information reasonably accurate. One-time email codes are personal and must not be shared.
Community content
You keep ownership of content you create. By publishing it, you grant Cruel Gamer a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, format, and display it only as needed to operate and promote the community. You must have the right to share the content and may not expose another person’s private information.
Conduct and moderation
Follow the Community Rules. Content may be limited, archived, removed, or preserved for review. Accounts may receive warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or termination under configured policies and server-side permissions. Available decisions can be appealed through the Member Center; an appeal does not guarantee reversal.
Game rooms and staff roles
Room owners and room moderators receive only the permissions expressly assigned to that room. Site moderation and administrative powers remain separate. Private or membership-only areas are not a promise of confidentiality; authorized staff may access them for safety, support, and legal duties.
External services
Discord, Steam, Twitch, YouTube, IGDB, browser notifications, and other enabled services are optional and governed by their own terms. Cruel Gamer does not guarantee provider uptime or public-data availability and may pause a failing or unsafe integration without disabling your core account.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Backups, security controls, and tested updates reduce risk but cannot eliminate outages or loss. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect losses, third-party services, or member conduct. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and termination
Material policy changes should be announced with an effective date. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance where permitted. You may stop using the service and request deletion; the operator may restrict or end access for violations, safety, legal compliance, or service discontinuation.
