WoW look at the size of that download!

I havent played WoW in over a year so I thought I would check it out before the release of the next expansion.

One of the nicest things about an MMO is the fantastic amount of time it takes to download and install patches.

When i started the  Warcraft client it greated me like an old friend that was eager to catch up.

Unfortunately the conversation went in a thousand directions and a billion bytes later I am still downloading patches.

Of course im sure it's gonna be worth it!

Or maybe not, by some cruel twist of fate there appears to be a never ending stream of patches the latest one is 1.2 GB. Shit!

Oh No You Don't!
I had planned on playing AoC till around level 50 giving everyone a good idea of what was in store after you left tortage. But to be honest I dont find this game interesting enough to invest that much time into. Considering that cruelgamer.com is still in it's infancy dedicating such a huge chunk of time to a game i dont enjoy is a sure fire way to burnout.

Does the little guy try harder to make people happy or is this just a bandage on unfinished software? AoC announces it's latest patch with sizeable updates to voiceover content, some call it progress others call it too little too late.

  Big box titles are starting to get better and better upon release. Many are actually good enough to warrant a pre-release sale. But spitting up cash for an online game goes much further than depending on the game in question being of quality.
